Service Advisor

The main duties of the Service Advisor role include;

  • Being the key contact between the customer and the Service Department
  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • Taking enquires and service bookings
  • Writing up repair orders
  • Effectively using the systems and processes to monitor and control the movement of customer vehicles
  • Keeping customers up to date with vehicle progress
  • Organising courtesy cars
  • Organising courtesy buses for customers travelling to and from work
  • Estimating for the customer the cost and time needed to complete a job
  • Liaising with the Workshop Controller to ensure all work is carried out in the allocated time frame
  • Gaining authorisation for extra work
  • Upselling products and services to the customer
  • Helping to bring in new business through the provision of superior service to existing customers
  • Handling customer complaints in line with company policies and procedures
Location: Northlakes
Experience:

Minimum 4 Years’ Service Advisor experience with excellent customer service skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of the Automotive Industry
  • Effective Time Management Skills
  • Excellent personal presentation and superior customer service skills
  • Highly developed organisation skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
